“Hey! Put your taser down and eat your dinner!”
It’s true. I live with lots of boys. Moments like this one remind me thus. No worries… it was just a toy taser from Target! And normally the rule is “no toys at the table,” but for some reason that evening apparently I wasn’t on my game… enforcing family rules and such.
Hey, guess what? This is the first “Awesome things Corey and Ashlee have said as Parent’s” post on WordPress. The last one was on Blogger HERE. Martin Luther. Bows. Good times.
And I know, I know. I haven’t been posting daily as promised. But I HAVE been working like a crazy woman to prepare for our Stake Women’s Conference that will be held this Saturday which I am in charge of. LOTS of blogging next week. Promise. In the mean time I will think of Sister Hinckley:
“I have a new project, one chapter a day from each of the standard works. I have been at it for four days and am only three days behind. Better to have tried and failed than never to have tried.”
Love her! And I can’t tell you how often I think of this quote. Probably too often… I need to learn to finish the things I start apparently!
