I was in the kitchen when everyone started shouting: “Mom!  Mom!”  “Ashlee! Come see!”

Even though I’m sure he had NO idea what he was looking at… the way he was looking at them… so intently… flipping pages, pointing, “reading,” showing all of us… was pretty danged darling, and very worth rushing in to see!
